Tarun Sharma brings ten years of experience in the domain of policy research and advisory. He led the urban division at Ecorys, a research advisory firm and has previously worked with Deloitte, Indicus (now Nielsen-Indicus) and McKinsey. He has managed and implemented various government and donor-funded projects on issues related to urban renewal, housing, livelihoods, mobility and land titling. He has also worked with the Ministry of Urban Development and the Ministry of Housing on their flagship projects. He has been responsible for strategic business development activities as well as research, knowledge management, review and drafting of policies relating to urban local development. He is passionate about urban institutions and cultures. He holds a Masters in Public Policy from National University of Singapore and Bachelor in Economics from Delhi University. He grew up in Rishikesh, a small town in Uttarakhand.
Yutika brings several years of valuable experience in policy research, management, and development. She has worked with multilateral agencies including The World Bank, The United Nations, and ERIA. At the World Bank, she works with the Social Protection and Governance teams on projects related to delivery of social protection and skilling programs, public administration, center of government reforms, and public sector pay reform across Asia. She is passionate about issues related to poverty and migration. She has a Masters in Public Policy and in International affairs from National University and Columbia University respectively with a focus on Urban and Social Policy. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from University of California, Berkeley with a Bachelor in International Political Economy and Global Poverty and Practice. She grew up in Panchgani, a small town in Maharashtra.
Arun Kumar Misra
Mr Misra is the former secretary of Ministry of Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation, Government of India. He had been responsible for major policy initiatives and guidelines during his time at the Ministry including affordable housing, livelihoods and others. He is a senior urban policy advisor to us.
Dr. Laveesh Bhandari is a renowned economist and entrepreneur. He is the director of Indicus Foundation. He regularly advises governments, civil society, and businesses. He is our research and analytics advisor.
Shahana is our Research Advisor and also a Doctoral Student at Yale University. Her research interests include urban governance and public finance. She also holds a dual public policy degree from London School of Economics and Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy
Prof. Mukul Asher is an illustrious public policy economist. He is a Professorial fellow at Lee Kuan Yew School at National University of Singapore. He was also the Chairman of the State Finance Commission of Haryana. He is a mentor and public policy advisor to us.
Shailesh Gandhi is a first generation entrepreneur and a distinguished Alumnus of IIT Bombay. He was an RTI activist and later served as the Central Information Commissioner. He advises and guides us on citizen empowerment issues.
